What will be deleted
- •Your profile information (name, email, phone) and login credentials
- •Linked virtual cards (closed), beneficiaries/recipients, saved devices and sessions
- •Marketing preferences and non-required support attachments
- •App tokens and access to all Swiftwire services
What we may retain (legal/compliance)
Swiftwire may retain certain records as required by law and regulation (e.g., KYC/AML verification data, transaction and ledger records, fraud-prevention logs, tax/audit information, dispute evidence). Blockchain transactions are immutable; however, where possible, we remove or de-link personal identifiers from internal references. Retention periods follow applicable laws in your country/region.
How to delete your account inside the Swiftwire app
(Required by Apple App Store 5.1.1(v))
- 1Open Swiftwire app
- 2Profile → Settings → Account → Delete account
- 3Review warnings and confirm
- 4Complete OTP verification
- 5You'll receive an email/SMS confirming your deletion has been scheduled
Request deletion without the app

If you cannot access the app, email support@swifttwire.com with the subject: "Swiftwire Account Deletion Request" and include:

- •(Optional) Swiftwire User ID or last successful login date

These confirmations (required):
- ✓"I understand this permanently deletes my Swiftwire account."
- ✓"I have withdrawn or consent to forfeiting any remaining balance."
- ✓"I understand certain records may be retained as required by law."
We will verify ownership via your registered email/phone and then schedule deletion.
Processing time & grace period
- •Deletions are typically processed within 30 days after verification.
- •A 7-day grace period applies to allow cancellation if you change your mind.
- •Deletion may be delayed for unresolved payments, disputes, compliance checks, or legal requests.
Cancel a deletion request
During the grace period, reply to the confirmation message or contact support@swifttwire.com with the subject "Cancel Deletion – [Your Email]".
Download or export your data
To request a copy of your data (where applicable), contact support@swifttwire.com with the subject "Data Export Request" from your registered email.
